Meet the UK Team

Based in its offices in Northampton, England, Intamac Systems has built a formidable management team, with a wealth of experience in the high technology, consumer products, service and security industries.

Chairman: Mr Keith Hobbs, C Dir, FCMA, FI Management

Keith is an FCMA and one of the few Chartered Directors in the country. Keith has a vast experience in the security industry including electronic security, manned guarding and forensic investigation. Keith was formerly Chairman and CEO of Protection One (Europe); the company grew by integrating several small acquisitions before being sold to ADT in 2001. Keith then became chairman of ADT (U.K) ltd.

Founder & Chief Executive: Kevin Meagher, C Eng MBA

Kevin retired from the Royal Air Force as a Group Captain to form Intamac. He has considerable experience in managing large, high tech businesses with complex HR and logistic support arrangements. He has lectured on business management and published papers at national and international conferences. He has worked at board level in organisations with an annual budget of £2.1 billion, and managed 4,300 personnel.

Company Secretary: Tony Burton MEd, BA, Cert E

Tony is Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer for the Company. He trained as a teacher and became one of the youngest Head Masters in the country before joining the RAF, where he completed the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants examinations to become one of a handful of military Management Accountants. He left the RAF in September 2002 to join Intamac.

Sales Director: Keith Donovan

Keith has over 25 year experience in the Security Industry and joined Intamac from Visonic UK Limited, where he was formerly the Managing Director for 11 years. In this role, Keith was responsible for creation and implementation of key business strategy for the UK. He was the driving force in successfully establishing the business as a recognised force in the UK wireless alarms market, and played an instrumental role in winning new corporate partner accounts, including BT and Bell.

Business Development Manager: David Rimmer, MBA

David graduated from university with an Honours degree in Industrial Design and spent the first 10 years of his career working for GE/GEC Hotpoint, where he became the Group Marketing Manager of Cooking Products, a category of over £100 million turnover. On leaving GE/GEC Hotpoint, David joined Cooper Security Ltd., one of Europe's largest intruder alarm and social care systems product design and manufacturers. David spent over 3 years with Cooper Security Ltd. As European Marketing Manager, developing and launching new product and service solutions for the business, before joining the Intamac team.

Support Systems Manager: John McEwan, MSc

John is responsible for software development and programming of the Intamac platform. His previous experience includes the design and management of B2B database and web site for major insurance companies, enabling their Insurance Brokers to use the Internet to obtain quotation. John has built up vast experience in designing and managing the database based software which integrates existing alarm systems and allows our partners to benefit from a full turnkey solution.
