If rising water comes into contact with a flood sensor, your alarm activates (without ringing your outside bell), and Home Manager™ raises the alarm.
Home Manager™ delivers Alert messages to your Home Manager™ Contacts List in the following sequence by text message, voice and email:
Step 1. An automated telephone call is made to your property first. This will alert you to the impending flood. Resetting your alarm panel with your PIN code will cancel the alarm, and prevent further messages being sent out to your Contacts. Otherwise:
Step 2. Your 1st Contact is notified. This could be your own mobile and work office phones, and nominated e-mail address.
Step 3. If there is no response from Contact 1, your 2nd Contact is then notified - this may be a neighbour or friend.
Step 4. If there is no response from Contact 2, your 3rd Contact is notified. This step is repeated until all 6 Contacts have been messaged, or someone has responded.
