interSeptor is the key to providing early warning of potentially disastrous conditions that may be developing in critical environments. Configuration can quickly be carried out via telnet, serial connection or browser interface, and monitoring handled via the browser or a network management system. Uniquely, interSeptor’s optional Go-Probe sensors can be attached to the remote temperature/humidity sensor to help to facilitate cabling and minimize installation time. Extra facilities such as BOOTP and DHCP make the interSeptor just about the most complete remote environmental monitoring product of its kind worldwide.

Email Alerts

interSeptor can be configured to email up to 4 recipients in the event of an alarm condition, and it is possible to configure this facility so that different recipients receive different types of alarm messages if required (eg. Informational, warning, etc.). It is even possible to send interSeptor current status reports to email recipients on a daily basis.

Java Viewer

interSeptor’s Java viewer provides an effective visual monitor accessible via the browser interface. Real-time information can be viewed in graph or meter format.

If an event is detected by the Jacarta interSceptor this automatically raises the alarm to your Contacts List as follows, by text message, voice call and e-mail:

alarm monitoringStep 1. An automated telephone call is made to your property first. This helps identify false alarms. Resetting your alarm panel will cancel the alarm, and prevent further messages being sent out to your Contacts. Otherwise:

Step 2. Your 1st Contact is notified. This could be your own mobile and work office phones, and nominated e-mail address as well.

Step 3. If there is no response from Contact 1, your 2nd Contact is then notified - this may be a neighbour or friend.

Step 4. If there is no response from Contact 2, your 3rd Contact is notified. This step is repeated until all 12 Contacts have been messaged, or someone has responded.
