Placing an emergency button near the front door can give protection against unwanted callers. If any one of the panic alert buttons connected to the alarm system is pressed the Home Manager will raise the alarm to the contacts list by text message, voice call and email.
Help Alerts are considered as potentially life threatening events and are immediately sent to all nominated key holder contacts:
Wired and wireless alert buttons can be fitted in any room and connected to an alarm system. Alternatively they can be worn on the wrist or round the neck as a pendant. Home Manager monitors these buttons.
If the occupant has a fall, they can press any one of the buttons and Home Manager will raise the alarm to the Contacts List by text message, voice call and email.
Help Alert and Fall Alert messages are sent by Home Manager in the following way:

Temperature sensors are fitted in the home. If the temperature drops below a critical level, Home Manager raises the alarm to your Contacts List by text message, voice call and email.
Hypothermia risk messages are sent by Home Manager in the following way:
Step 1. An automated telephone call is made to your relative's property first. This will reassure them that Home Manager is contacting someone if they have fallen, or informs them that the temperature is too low. Resetting the system now prevents further messages being sent out to the Contacts List. Otherwise:
Step 2. Contact 1 is notified. This would probably be your own mobile and office phones, and work e-mail address.
Step 3. If there is no response from Contact 1, Contact 2 is then notified - this may be a local neighbour or friend.
Step 4. If there is no response from Contact 2, Contact 3 is notified. This step is repeated until all Contacts have been messaged, or someone has responded.
