At the conference, Intamac will be demonstrating a range of products utilising their award winning automated monitoring and messaging service. These will include the worlds’ first true IP Alarm system combined with an automated web-based monitoring and messaging service, IP camera monitoring, and a range of new service capabilities.
The Conference includes a number of keynote speakers and plenary sessions, with experts discussing trends in the digital home industry. Kevin Meagher, CEO of Intamac Systems has been invited to speak present his views on the integrated home market in a session entitled ’In search of the Killer Application’. This session will look review the explosive growth in home systems and control, and look at how manufacturers are developing ranges of products and devices which allow customers to create a truly networked home.
Kevin will argue that it is the provision of low-cost broadband connectivity in the home, broadband as a new ‘Utility’, which will drive acceptance of home automation. There will not be a single Killer Application in this market, but a general acceptance of the necessity of broadband in the home, allowing the internet and web portal services such as that provided by Intamac to be used as the control interface for home management systems.
